Create your own city tour: become an Explorely city curator

Tour guides and local creators: pick 15 to 25 places in your city, build quests, get a verified profile. One curator per city.

You already know the places tourists miss. The courtyard behind the church, the bakery that sells out by ten, the viewpoint nobody finds without a local. The city curator program puts those places on the map for travelers who are already looking for them.

What is a city curator?

One local per city who picks the places and builds the quests. Tour guides, travel creators, city bloggers, photographers. You choose 15 to 25 spots and turn them into quests and routes in the app.

What do you get?

Why does this work for tour guides?

A quest route runs while you sleep. Travelers who play your route see your name and profile at every stop. Some of them will book your paid tour. It's a sample of what you do in person that they can walk on their own.

Why does this work for creators?

Your recommendations stop being a post that scrolls away. They become a route people walk. Every player sees who curated it.

What does it take?

  1. Pick a city and become its ambassador. You're the one who creates the quests there.
  2. Pick 15 to 25 places. Mix well known sights with spots only locals know.
  3. Write a short text and one task for each.
  4. Group them into one or more routes.
  5. We review, publish and send you the route assets.

Most curators need a few evenings. You know the city, the app handles maps, routing and XP.

Why only one per city?

So each city has a clear voice and the curator gets full visibility, not a spot in a crowded list.

How do I apply?

Send us a DM on Instagram at @explorely.app or an email to adrien@explorely.app. Include your city and a link to your work. We'll check if your city is still open. For tips on building a good route, read how to turn a walking tour into a game.
