Explorely is an AI-powered, gamified travel guide app that helps you discover city routes, attractions, cafés, and hidden gems — all while completing quests, earning points, and making a positive environmental impact.

Explorely is available on iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play.

Explorely currently supports 8,000+ cities across 120+ countries. We're constantly expanding — if your city isn't available yet, let us know at adrien@explorely.app.

1. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Tap Register and enter your email address.
3. Verify your email when prompted.
4. Set your username and you're ready to explore.

Go to Settings → Account → Log Out.

Profile editing is coming soon. You'll be able to update your profile picture, display name, and preferences from Settings → Profile. Language and region settings will be available at Settings → Preferences.

Quests are in-app challenges — walking routes, visiting sights, checking in at landmarks, and more. Complete quests to earn XP points that unlock perks and let you support environmental initiatives through Travel2Earn.

The Route Planner creates a personalised city itinerary featuring must-see highlights and hidden gems. You can save your travel history and share your journeys with friends directly from the app.

Use the Nearby view or map to find museums, restaurants, cafés, and more along your route. Filter by type — food, culture, or outdoor — to find exactly what you're looking for.

View current street festivals, exhibitions, and seasonal events in city view. Join leaderboards and compete with explorers around the world.

We collect what you share (name, email, profile info), location data for route planning and nearby attractions (opt-in), and usage analytics to improve the app. We never sell your personal data.

Your data is used solely to provide core functions (routes, quests, suggestions). When working with third-party services (maps, environment projects), only the minimum necessary data is shared under secure protocols.

On Android, Explorely requests access to physical activity and step data via the device's Health Connect or Activity Recognition permission. This is used exclusively to:

• Track steps and movement to verify quest completion (e.g. walking routes, check-ins).
• Calculate distances covered during an exploration session.
• Award XP points accurately based on your activity.

We do not store, sell, or share your health data with any third party. Health data is processed on-device and only the quest result (completed / not completed) is sent to our servers. You can revoke this permission at any time via Android Settings → Apps → Explorely → Permissions without affecting other app features.

Yes — the app and all its features are completely free. No subscriptions, no hidden fees.

1. Restart your device.
2. Make sure you're running the latest version of the app.
3. If the problem persists, contact us at adrien@explorely.app with a brief description of the issue.

Check that location services are enabled for Explorely in your device settings. Ensure you have sufficient GPS signal or cellular data. Moving outdoors often improves accuracy.

Some content (map data, new quests) requires an internet connection. Download features, where available, allow limited offline use. We recommend connecting to Wi-Fi before starting a new route.

Check the App Store or Google Play listing for the minimum iOS / Android version required. Make sure your device meets those requirements before installing.
